Kafe Kebun Kluang by Suzil offers a charming escape into the heart of Johor’s kampung lifestyle combined with hearty Malaysian flavors. Nestled along Jalan Dahlia in the serene Kampung Melayu area, this coffee shop is a true gem for those seeking authentic local fare in a peaceful, natural setting.
The menu is a delightful celebration of traditional Malay comfort food, especially its signature Mee Kari selections. The Mee Kari Kaki Ayam beckons with its rich, fragrant broth infused with tender chicken feet, accompanied by crunchy tauhu, fresh tauge, and kacang panjang—a beautiful harmony of textures. For something heartier, the Mee Kari Kambing features succulent mutton steeped in the same lovingly crafted curry, balanced by fresh lime and a spicy kick from chili oil. Each bowl embodies warmth and depth, perfect for indulging in flavors that speak of home.
Beyond curries, the “Ngeteh Kebun” snack options provide comfort and nostalgia. Try the Lempeng Duo Sambal, where soft, fluffy pancakes come alive with two vibrant sambal dips, or the Roti Bakar Klasik—a beautifully toasted bread slathered with house-made kaya and butter, delivering simple yet unforgettable sweetness. The Cucur Geragau, crispy fritters with succulent prawn bits, pair perfectly with a cup of their carefully brewed coffee.
Customers frequently praise the tranquil atmosphere, noting the quiet and peaceful environment that makes conversations easy without needing to raise their voices. The rustic kampung setting is enhanced by views of surrounding durian plantations, adding a leafy, green backdrop that’s calming and restorative. This place invites you to slow down, savor your meal, and soak in the charms of rural Malaysia.
While some have mentioned that the drinks arrive a little late, the friendliness and laid-back hospitality of the staff make up for it. Prices are considered reasonable, especially given the quality and setting, although the remote location means it’s more of a special trip than a quick coffee stop.
Whether you’re a local yearning for kampung-style dishes or a traveler eager to discover true Johorean flavors in a serene atmosphere, Kafe Kebun Kluang by Suzil promises an experience that is both heartwarming and deliciously memorable. A quiet haven, filled with familiar tastes and the joyous simplicity of village life—this coffee shop is a must-visit sanctuary for food lovers and peace seekers alike.

My kids love the scenery around this place. It is Kampung view. We came during the time they are about to closing. So we didnt ordered many. But view is nice! Recommended to those who love the Kampung side views. Their staff also quite friendly & tolerant. This kafe is built in house compound, you may see their environment looks natural like people having meals & chilling petang2. Worth to visit if you come to Kluang also.

Kampung style kinda atmosphere! The food not bad. But the price kinda overpriced since their location quite remote compare to other town area cafe, still a must place to drop by!
